Windows server convert

System partition in windows server is usually in the type of FAT32. For some reason, We have to convert FAT32 into NTFS without damaging current partition data. So how to do it?

The system command built in operation system can achieve it as shown below:
CONVERT volume /FS:NTFS [/V] [/CvtArea:filename] [/NoSecurity] [/X]



 volume\     Specify drive letter(following a colon)

                     Mount point or volume name

 /FS:NTFS     Specify the volume to be converted into NTFS

 /V                 Set Convert to run in detailed mode

     /CvtArea:filename

                     Set consecutive file in root directory as placeholder of NTFS system file

  /NoSecurity

                     Specify files access to convert and security settings of directory

  /X

If necessary, uninstall volume in force and all handles in this volume are not valid.

You may be under certain risk with this order. Some server operation systems are without this command or operations fail with this command. That will lead to data damaged and OS unable to reboot.
