Move free space between partitions

When a hard drive was originally set, the number and size of partitions were also set. At that time, the administrator gave specified free space to different partitions according to their assumptions. However, their assumptions are very likely to be proved as wrong with the increase of using time. Some of the partitions may have lots of free space left, while others are running out of space. Of course, this will have a bad impact on the running speed and performance of computer.

When Windows Server users are suffered from such problem, they’d better take timely actions to move free space between partitions. Actually, when the space of C drive is going to be used up, the computer speed will be decreased obviously. Working under such circumstance, almost all server users will have a bad mood. Thus, it is necessary for users to move free space in Windows Server in this case.

How to Move Free Space Between Partitions

In low disk space situations, many users will choose to check their programs and files so as to uninstall unnecessary programs and delete files which are not useful any longer. Admittedly, those actions are able to make users get rid of current problem for a short period time. But as we can imagine, they will be stuck in the same problem in the near future.

The reaction of some other users to low disk space is using Windows Server built-in disk management tool – Disk Management to move free space between partitions. However, they may disappointedly discover the fact that the Disk Management in some Windows Server operating systems provides them with no related functions. So this way is not practical sometimes.

Now, we’d like to offer all Windows Server users a good tool which can help them move free space in Windows Server at will. The name is MiniTool Partition Wizard.
